Holiday Inn Hull Marina By Ihg, Kingston upon Hull

The hotel overlooks the marina, offering a good size and clean room, but in need of some updates and maintenance. The staff were very helpful overall, but had some knowledge gaps. The location is superb, quiet, and with a lovely view, although lacking a view from the bedroom window. The dining options were good but somewhat pricey. The facilities are decent overall.

The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the city center on foot, especially if you're attending events at the Bonus Arena or visiting the old fruit market. The room was clean and adequately equipped, although not overly impressive. The staff, particularly at reception and during breakfast, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.

The hotel isn't fancy but has everything you need, and it’s clean. The rooms are on the ground floor overlooking the Marina and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I had to go through a few glasses before finding a clean one for my orange juice, which was a little inconvenience.
